IT Project Manager ERP Workday (m/f/d)

In your role as IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the introduction of the new ERP system Workday in the finance and HR areas of the holding company and coordinate both the technical requirements and the service provider. At the end of the project, you will coordinate the technical development of the system. In addition, as part of the Aurelius IT practice, you will support value creation in the portfolio companies through effective and practical project and change management. The AURELIUS IT Task Force is a well-coordinated team of consultants with in-depth specialist knowledge and many years of management experience.

I am a Senior Managing Director at AURELIUS and part of the Operations Team. Prior to joining AURELIUS in 2022, I held a number of executive positions in the steel industry, serving in management roles at both H.C. Starck Group and ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe. Before that, I worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

In my role as a Senior Managing Director at AURELIUS, I oversee two portfolio companies in the Industrials & Chemicals sector, each with a global manufacturing footprint, and manage the interface between AURELIUS and their respective leadership teams.

I am a Procurement Practice Manager at AURELIUS. Prior to joining in 2023, I had a career in consulting and worked as a Manager for both PwC and Efficio. Before that, I successfully founded a Facility Management business. I hold a BA in International Business and Social Science from Rhine-Waal University, with a focus on Procurement, Logistics and Leveraged Finance.

As a Procurement Manager at AURELIUS, my role involves ensuring operational excellence, cost optimisation, fostering supplier relationships and facilitating knowledge exchange among Chief Procurement Officers (CPOs). I also play a pivotal role in due diligence projects (DDs) and contributing to EBITDA improvements.

Outside of work, I’m deeply passionate about bodybuilding and sports (especially cycling) actively supporting friends, family and charitable organizations through volunteering.

I am a Senior Manager of Strategy & Transformation at AURELIUS. Before joining in 2021, I worked in consulting at Deloitte and UNITY. Prior to this, I pursued my studies in mechanical engineering, earning an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese American University.

As Senior Manager Strategy & Transformation I support our portfolio companies on different matters, starting with setting the company strategy and then devising the necessary measures to achieve that.

Projects vary in topics from business planning, finance, sales and marketing to operations. One key aspect is also enabling the people in the organisation and making sure that we have the right people in place.
