What attributes is AURELIUS looking for at C-level?
We are looking for general managers that are team players with a genuine drive for change, strong entrepreneurial spirit and a pragmatic hands-on mentality paired with excellent analytical and communication skills.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in a leadership role including full P&L responsibility in a mid-sized and/or private equity-backed company, alternatively within management of a division or a relevant business unit.
A consulting background and experience in building and developing teams as well as the capability to lead critical transformations with the required sensitivity and speed is a great advantage.
What are the requirements to be invited to an interview?
In addition to the formal requirements regarding academic and professional background, we are looking for the best possible fit between our portfolio company and a potential C-level candidate.
The size of the business, the current challenges within the company, the structure of the organisation/management team as well as the medium-term strategic (growth) plan for the company impacts the candidate selection for the initial round of interviews.
Do you offer equity incentives to C-level management in your portfolio companies?
In general, yes. The nature and amount of the equity is dependent on the timing when a candidate joins the business as well as the general situation within the company at that moment.
Is presence on-site required or are hybrid working models possible?
At C-level, your presence on site is a prerequisite on at least 4 days / week.
