To further strengthen our investment team in Amsterdam, we are looking for you to join us!

As a member of AURELIUS’ Amsterdam Private Equity team, you will assist your colleagues and actively engage in all stages of the investment process of Benelux, pan-European, and global transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct due diligence activities in the context of corporate acquisitions, e.g., analysis of company data (balance sheets, income statements, etc.) and reviewing business models
  • Formulating strategic concepts and conducting corporate evaluations
  • Assistance in negotiating and completing transactions
  • Participation in planning and realization of financing strategies
  • Prepare contract negotiations
  • Support exit processes

Skills required

  • Excellent academic track record. University degree in economics, finance, business administration or related field
  • 1 – 3 yrs. of professional experience in Management Consulting,, Transaction Services, Private Equity, or Investment Banking
  • Experience with analysis and modelling of integrated P&L/Balance Sheet/Cash Flow statements, and a strong grasp of IFRS/local GAAP accounting concepts
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present conclusions in a concise and compelling manner
  • Pro-active problem solver, result-oriented, highly developed sense of responsibility, and teamwork focused
  • Entrepreneurial personality, open communicator
  • Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, further language skills welcome
