Intern Debt Financing & Capital Markets (m/f/d) – Munich
We are looking for you for our Team in Munich starting October 2025 or January 2026.
In this role, you will be part of our Munich Debt Financing & Capital Markets team and support on acquisition financings and refinancings across all Private Equity investment vehicles as a fully integrated team member. We are looking for interns for a period of at least 12 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating on acquisition financings for M&A transactions as well as refinancings of portfolio companies across various industries
- Analysing information memorandums and supporting in debt capacity assessments, due diligence reviews and financial modelling
- Preparing teaser and lender presentations for potential financing partners
- Attending lender meetings and conducting follow-up analyses
- Preparing materials to present key financing considerations in internal investment advisory committees
- Supporting on deal execution and legal documentation
Profile:
- Advanced Bachelor’s or ongoing Master’s degree with a major in business, finance, science or engineering at a renowned university
- Strong academic performance
- First relevant practical experience as part of internships in related areas (Investment Banking / Leveraged Finance, Private Credit, Strategy Consulting, Transaction Advisory, Private Equity)
- High motivation combined with analytical thinking and excellent teamwork skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills; German is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

We are strengthening our Team in Amsterdam and are looking for you starting January 2026.
Interns in the investment teamwork as a full member of the team together with the investment professionals, and thus get to know the multi-faceted private equity business. During your internship you will be challenged to develop your financial-, technical-, and personal-skills via your supporting role in live transactions.
Responsibilities
- Research and analysis on markets, industries and companies
- Support teams in analysing potential acquisitions
- Participation in due diligence processes, and preparation of material for investment decisions
- Support in the monitoring of portfolio companies
- Preparation of potential portfolio exits
Profile
The Benelux team in Amsterdam is constantly looking for interns who are available for 3 to 6 months.
- You are completing or have recently completed a technical, scientific, economical of financial degree, with above average academic achievements
- Strong analytical skills
- Prior experience/internships in private equity or related fields (investment banking, strategy consulting, transaction services)
- Genuine interest in the private equity industry
- Highly ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills and strong teamwork ability
- Fluent speaker and writer in English and Dutch

My tasks varied greatly on a daily basis and included supporting the team to conduct due diligence assessments of attractive target companies through market research and the analysis of financial data. I also learnt how to produce drafts of indicative offer letters. The most exciting part of my job was the tremendous variety of the tasks, which ensured I had a steep learning curve.

The team involved me in deal processes, from due diligence over cash flow modelling to the drafting of sales and purchase agreements, meaning that I was able to follow the process as an insider.
